Of Two Minds
The Cecilia Chorus of New YorkInspired by Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor’s TED Talk and bestselling memoir My Stroke of Insight, identical-twin composers The Brothers Balliett created Fifty Trillion Molecular Geniuses, a new work for chorus and orchestra.
Ahead of its world premiere at Carnegie Hall, launched a series of interviews and films that brought together Dr. Taylor, the composers, music director Mark Shapiro, and the featured soloist to explore the science, music, and personal story behind the piece.
